This explains what Donut Drop collects when you use our site, why, and who else sees it. We only collect what we need to deliver your donuts.
What we collect
- Account details: your name, email address and phone number.
- Delivery details: your street address, neighborhood and drop note, and the map location we look up from your address.
- Your orders: your standard order, weekend changes, skips, and delivery history.
- Payment details: your card is entered on Stripe’s secure page. We receive only a reference to it and the last digits, never the full card number.
- Basic technical data: the usual logs our hosting provider keeps (such as IP address and browser type) to run and secure the site. We do not run advertising trackers.
How we use it
- To deliver your orders, plan the delivery route and charge your card each week.
- To email you about your account: welcome, reminders before each weekly lock, receipts, delivery notices and payment problems.
- To check that your address is in a neighborhood we serve, and to keep the service safe.
Who else sees it
We share data only with the services that help us run Donut Drop, and only what each one needs:
- Stripe processes payments.
- Supabase stores our database and handles sign-in.
- Vercel hosts the site.
- Resend sends our emails.
- The U.S. Census Bureau’s geocoder receives your street address so we can place it on the map.
- Our delivery crew sees your name, address, drop note and what is in your order for the weekend it is delivered.
We do not sell your information.
How long we keep it
We keep your account and order history while your account is open and for a reasonable time afterward for records and support. Payment records are kept by Stripe as required by law.
Your choices
You can update your orders and card from My Drop at any time. To see, correct or delete the personal information we hold about you, contact us. Email hello@donutdropallen.com.
Children
Donut Drop is run by a family and our customers are adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
Changes
If we change this policy we will update the date above. Continuing to use Donut Drop means you accept the update.
